The international seminar devoted to “Digitalization in TVET, Use of AI in Training” was held by FIDVET experts on September 19, 2025.
The online event brought together the participants from Afghanistan, Belarus, Brazil, Jordan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, China, Uzbekistan and South Africa who discussed such issues as: best practices for integrating digital technologies and AI into the educational process and college management systems. Particular attention was paid to personalizing learning, creating adaptive educational content and discussing the challenges associated with digital transformation.
Key note speeches were delivered by the following experts:
- Ms. Sofya Lagutina – Director of International IT College IThub, Russian Federation;
- Prof. Wayne Hugo - School of Education, University of KwaZulu-Natal, SAPCO, South Africa;
- Ms. Mona Bataineh - Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC) IT teacher, Ministry of Education, Jordan;
- Prof. Jesué Graciliano da Silva - Federal Institute of Santa Catarina, CONIF, Brazil;
- Dr. Segrey GIL’ – Scientific Director of “Career in Russia” Resource Platform, President of the “Intellectual Alliance” Foundation, Russian Federation.
"The most important outcome of the seminar was a consolidated position on the need to create an international working platform. The goal of which will be not only to exchange experiences but also to develop practical, common protocols for using AI in the educational process, as well as the creation of accompanying educational materials for teachers and students" - the organizers emphasized.
